Notes

For a spicier sandwich, toss the chicken with red pepper flakes or hot sauce. Add sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, or bell peppers for extra veggies. For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with grilled halloumi or roasted portobello mushrooms. To lighten the recipe, use whole-wheat rolls and light mayonnaise. Store leftover sandwich components separately in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days to prevent sogginess. Consider using a wrap instead of bread for better leftover results.
