  • ½ cup packed light brown sugar
  • ½ cup caramel sauce
  • ½ cup toffee bits, divided reserve some for topping
  • 4-5 medium apples Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Gala recommended
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice optional, to prevent apple browning

Instructions

  • Place softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl.

  • Gently fold in the caramel sauce until swirled throughout the cream cheese mixture.

  • Sprinkle the remaining toffee bits over the top of the dip.
  • Arrange the apple slices around the bowl and serve immediately.

Notes

For the best results, ensure the cream cheese is fully softened before mixing to avoid lumps. Avoid overmixing after adding the caramel sauce to prevent a runny dip. Chilling the dip is crucial for both flavor and texture. High-quality caramel sauce will significantly enhance the flavor. This dip can be made up to 2 days in advance and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Leftover dip can be stored for up to 3 days. Consider adding a pinch of cinnamon or chopped nuts for variations.
