  • saucepan or microwave-safe bowl to heat nacho cheese sauce
  • Measuring cups
  • Spatula or tongs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning mix (Taco Bell or preferred brand)
  • 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 0.5 cup reduced-fat sour cream

  • Warm the cooked rice if needed using microwave or stovetop.
  • Heat the nacho cheese sauce in a saucepan or microwave until warmed through.
  • Warm a tortilla. Layer the center with rice, taco beef, nacho cheese, sour cream, and shredded cheese blend.
  • Fold in the sides, then roll up the burrito tightly from the bottom. Ensure it's sealed well.
  • Optional: Grill the burrito in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
  • Slice and serve hot with optional sides like salsa, guacamole, or hot sauce.

Notes

You can customize this burrito by adding jalapeños, guacamole, or swapping the beef for black beans. For a crispier finish, grill the rolled burrito briefly on a skillet.
