Ingredients
  

  • 1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix (or white)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • graham cracker crumbs (optional topping)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  • In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sugar, and egg until smooth.
  • Dollop cream cheese mixture over the pie filling. No need to spread perfectly.
  • Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the top.
  • Drizzle melted butter evenly across the entire surface.
  • Optional: sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over the top.
  • Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
  • Cool for 15 minutes before serving warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Easily adapt with other pie fillings like cherry or blueberry. Use chocolate or gluten-free cake mix, or top with nuts, chocolate chips, or graham crumbs for extra texture. Store in the fridge and reheat for best next-day flavor!
