Elevate happy hour with this summery twist on the classic whiskey sour, featuring fresh strawberries, lemon juice, and a smooth whiskey base – sunshine in a glass!
In a cocktail shaker, gently muddle fresh strawberries until juicy but not pulpy.
Add whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, and water to the shaker.
Fill the shaker with ice and seal tightly.
Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well chilled.
Double strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice using a Hawthorne strainer and fine mesh sieve.
Garnish with a lemon slice and whole strawberry.
