  • Spatula or tongs
  • Serving dish
  • Measuring spoons
  • Measuring cups
  • Cutting board
  • Knife

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Beef Sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ¼ tsp Onion Powder
  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter
  • 6 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Thyme, chopped optional
  • ¼ tsp Red Pepper Flakes optional
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Fresh Parsley, chopped for garnish
  • Sesame Seeds for garnish
  • Green Onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions

  • Pat the beef cubes dry with paper towels.
  • In a large bowl, toss the beef cubes with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the beef cubes to the skillet in a single layer, searing for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned but still slightly pink inside.
  • Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  • Stir in the chopped parsley, thyme (if using), and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Pour in the lemon juice and stir well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the seared beef cubes back to the skillet with the garlic butter sauce.
  • Toss to coat the beef evenly in the sauce.
  • Cook for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly and the beef to finish cooking to your desired doneness.
  • Remove the Garlic Butter Beef Bites from the skillet and transfer to a serving dish.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley, sesame seeds, or sliced green onions, if desired.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use sirloin, tenderloin, or ribeye beef. Avoid overcooking the beef. Adjust the garlic and spice levels to your preference. These bites can be served as an appetizer or over rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta for a complete meal. For a slow cooker version, sear the beef and cook on low for 2-3 hours or high for 1-1.5 hours in the garlic butter sauce.
