Mouthwatering Garlic Butter Honey BBQ Beef Tacos Recipe: Flavor Explosion!

Equipment

  • Large Skillet or Wok for browning and simmering beef
  • Tongs or spatula to handle beef strips
  • cutting board and knife for prepping beef and toppings

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs beef chuck roast or skirt steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 0.5 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp chili powder
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 12 corn or flour tortillas
  • your favorite toppings (cheese, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, cilantro, onions, etc.)

Instructions
 

  • Pat beef dry and season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and chili powder.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear beef in batches, 2–3 minutes per side. Set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in honey, BBQ sauce, and soy sauce. Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Return beef to skillet and coat in sauce. Simmer covered for 15–20 minutes until tender.
  • Warm tortillas using your preferred method (skillet, microwave, or open flame).
  • Assemble tacos: fill tortillas with beef and top with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Chuck roast works great for tenderness, but skirt steak adds a richer flavor. For extra punch, marinate the beef in the sauce ahead of time. Leftovers are fantastic in salads or quesadillas.
