  • Cover and refrigerate the sauce until ready to use.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or a skillet on the stovetop over medium heat.

  • In the last minute of cooking, add cheese slices to the burgers and allow them to melt slightly.
  • Lightly toast the burger buns.
  • Spread a generous amount of "Crack" sauce on both the top and bottom buns.
  • Place a cheesy burger patty on the bottom bun.
  • Add your desired toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, and onion.
  • Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.

Notes

Don't overmix the meat to avoid tough burgers. Chill the patties before cooking to help them hold their shape. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the burgers are cooked to the perfect temperature (160°F/71°C). Toast the buns to prevent sogginess. Get creative with toppings like bacon, avocado, or a fried egg. For a spicy kick, add cayenne pepper or hot sauce to the "Crack" sauce. Mix diced jalapeños and cream cheese into the ground beef mixture for a jalapeño popper-inspired burger. Serve with French fries, onion rings, coleslaw, or potato salad.
