Equipment

  • Oven
  • Baking Sheet
  • Small bowl
  • Medium bowl
  • Measuring spoons
  • Measuring cups
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup Caesar dressing store-bought or homemade
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
  • Optional: croutons, for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush the garlic-infused oil evenly over the flatbread.
  • Place the flatbread on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until lightly golden and crispy. Keep a close eye on it, as it can burn easily.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the shredded or diced cooked chicken with the Caesar dressing. Make sure the chicken is well-coated.
  • Add the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley to the chicken mixture and stir to combine.
  • Remove the flatbread from the oven and spread the chicken Caesar mixture evenly over the top.
  • Return the flatbread to the oven and bake for another 3-5 minutes, or until the topping is heated through and the cheese is melted (if using extra cheese on top).
  • Remove the Chicken Caesar Flatbread from the oven and top with the chopped romaine lettuce.
  • Optional: Sprinkle with croutons for extra crunch.
  • Slice the flatbread into wedges and serve immediately.

Notes

For a crispy flatbread, bake the base before adding the chicken mixture. Avoid overloading with toppings to prevent sogginess. You can prepare the chicken Caesar topping in advance and store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Leftover Chicken Caesar Flatbread can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Try adding sliced tomatoes or red onions for extra flavor and color. For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or drizzle with hot sauce.
