  • Broiler or oven for melting cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup Buffalo wing sauce (Frank's RedHot recommended)
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 4 slices provolone cheese (or your preferred cheese)
  • ¼ cup bleu cheese dressing (optional)
  • ¼ cup chopped celery (optional)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • Add Buffalo sauce to chicken and simmer a few minutes until slightly thickened and well coated.
  • Mix melted butter and minced garlic. Brush inside of hoagie rolls with garlic butter.
  • Divide Buffalo chicken among the rolls. Top each with a slice of provolone cheese.
  • Broil for 1–2 minutes or until cheese melts and bubbles. Alternatively, cover skillet to melt cheese.
  • Add bleu cheese dressing and chopped celery, if using. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Customize with bleu cheese crumbles, ranch, or crispy bacon for even more flavor. Use a high-quality Buffalo sauce and toast your rolls for best texture. Easily scale up for game day or meal prep!
