Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Medium bowl
  • Whisk
  • Spoon
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Baking sheet (optional, for toasting)
  • Spatula (optional, for toasting)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef 80/20
  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
  • 12 slices American cheese
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • ½ cup finely diced white onion
  • ½ cup dill pickle chips, thinly sliced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder optional
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  • Prepare the Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, white vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Mix well until everything is fully combined. Taste and adjust the seasonings as needed. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Cook the Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Season the Beef: Season the cooked ground beef with salt and pepper to taste. You can also add a pinch of garlic powder and onion powder for extra flavor.
  • Assemble the Sliders: Slice the slider buns in half horizontally. Spread a generous amount of Big Mac sauce on the bottom half of each bun.
  • Add the Toppings: Top each sauced bun with a spoonful of the cooked ground beef, followed by a slice of American cheese, a sprinkle of shredded lettuce, a few diced onions, and a couple of pickle chips.
  • Top with Buns: Place the top half of the slider buns over the toppings. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top of the buns.
  • Toast the Buns (Optional): For an extra touch, you can lightly toast the slider buns in a skillet or under the broiler for a few seconds until golden brown. This adds a nice textural contrast.
  • Serve Immediately: Serve the Big Mac Sliders immediately while they're still warm and the cheese is melty.

Notes

For a spicier sauce, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a few drops of hot sauce. You can use any type of cheese you like, but American cheese is the most authentic for Big Mac flavor. Feel free to add other toppings, such as bacon bits or sliced tomatoes. Assembling the sliders right before serving prevents soggy buns. For best results, chill the Big Mac sauce for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
